Vicki founded the quartet with a passion for preserving the rich tradition of New Orleans music. With each note played the quartet shares the vibrant sounds of the city, captivating audiences around the globe. Join us on this musical journey as we celebrate and honour the heritage of New Orleans, considered to be the birthplace of jazz.

Vicki Ann

Vicki is a passionate young musician deeply inspired by the traditional music of New Orleans. Her first visit to city ignited a love for its vibrant culture, where the sounds of street performances captivated her. Welcomed by seasoned musicians, she embraced the opportunity to learn and alongside them, fostering a profound connection to the rich musical heritage of the city.

John Richardson

John is an established pianist with years of experience performing around the globe. With over 100 tours under his belt, he leads his own band, The Ginger Pig, and has collaborated with numerous jazz legends. Splitting his time between his home in England and the diverse city of New Orleans, John shares his passion for music and spreads joy through his piano playing.

Phillipe De Smett

Phillipe, an early member of the New Orleans Z'Hulus jazz band  from Belgium, showcased his exceptional talent when he was invited to step in for the legendary Louis Nelson during a tour. This opportunity not only highlights his love of the Louis Nelson style but also underscores his significant contribution to the jazz scene. His passion for traditional music and dedication  continue to inspire fellow musicians alike.

Emile Martyn

Emile has dedicated a decade to the vibrant music scene of New Orleans, collaborating with some of the world's top musicians. He's shared the stage on Bourbon Street with his Godfather, Harold Dejan, and has worked alongside Fats Domino's band members during their off days. Emile is a familiar face at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, where he continues to showcase his passion for this rich musical tradition. His journey reflects a deep commitment to the sounds that define this iconic city.
